Pauline was born Jan 1, 1864 to Adam and Katherina Brandau (nee Menges) in Milwaukee, WI. On June 1, 1880 she married Robert Friedrich Grunert in the town of Lake (Bay View) which is just South of Milwaukee, and they had at least 12 children, all born in Milwaukee, WI:

I find her listed by quite a few different names, Pauline, Paulina, Polly, Amelia, Mary, Molly. These all appear to be the same person. Pauline Grunert is listed in the 1926 Milwaukee Directory along with her husband Robert listed as a carpenter, but not for the 1927 directory. She is not in her sons obit in 1929.

It is assumed she is buried at Glen Oaks as was her husband. In the 1932 Milwaukee Directory her husband Robert is listed as a Widow for the first time.
