Sylvester Williams, age 93, of Alma, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, in Van Buren, Arkansas. Mr. Williams was born December 4, 1925, in Kirby, Arkansas to Willie Ann Paisley and Joe Williams. He was a retired farm mechanic who specialized in cotton pickers.
He was survived by one son, Stan Williams (Elaine); one daughter, Yolanda Gunn; six grandchildren, Amy Gunn, Miriam Gunn, Esther Gunn, Courtney Williams (Stacey), Jeremy Williams (Rebecca), Stephen Williams (Cacy); ten great-grandchildren; and his sister, Cordelia Brock.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances; parents; six brothers, Ernest Williams, Doyle Williams, David Williams, O.L Williams, O.B Williams, Robert Williams; sister, Zeltha Daughtry; and son-in-law, Parker Gunn.
