Betty Carroll Briscoe, 59, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 12440 Rendon Road, Burleson. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Guardian Funeral Home. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Palo Duro Cemetery in Wildorado.

Betty leaves this world wanting for her replacement, as she was a person who offered unconditional love to anyone. She loved the Lord as the true Savior and loved the fellowship of her church family at Tabernacle Baptist Church and especially her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim LeGrand of Amarillo; her father, Cooter Young; and her adopted father, D.R. Nichols.

Survivors: Husband, Richard "Ricky" Allen Briscoe of Grapevine; mother, Lula Nichols of Amarillo; brothers, G.W. Nichols, Jim Nichols and wife, Terri, and Mike Nichols and wife, Gina; stepchildren, Rhonda Washington and Richard Joseph Briscoe; three stepgrandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews.
