Aaron Eugene Davis was born to the late Mary Hudson Davis and Monroe Davis on November 9, 1938 in Aragon, Georgia. At an early age, Aaron became a faithful member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. He graduated from Elm Street High School in Rockmart, Georgia. He was employed at Aragon Mill that later became Integrated Products for over 25 years. He also worked at Engineered Fabrics, where he retired in 1999. Aaron was a member of I.F.C.C. for 20 years. Many people remember him for his delicious cakes and fried apple and peach pies. Aaron departed this life to take his rest with God on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:30 pm. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John K. Davis and Howard Roper, and one sister, Helen Fredrick He leaves to remember and cherish his loving memories, two sisters, Geneva (Harold) Styles, Rockmart, Georgia and Bertha Davis, Aragon, Georgia;one adopted sister, Rachel Roper, Aragon, Georgia; two brothers, Winston (Tina) Davis and Augusta Davis, both of Aragon, Georgia; one special nephew, Phillip T. Davis, Sr. as well as a host of nieces.
Services will be Monday, April 15, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 3693 Rome Highway 101 Aragon, Georgia 30104. He will lie in-state from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens, 2245 Rockmart Highway, Cedartown, Georgia.
