James is a son of James Harvey Crozier and Rachel Virginia (Wells) Crozier, and the husband of Hallie May (Sherman) Crozier


James Ray Crozier, 78, of Knoxville passed away at his home. He was a farmer all of his working life having farmed north east of Knoxville until 1964. He had made his home in Knoxville for the past twenty eight years and was actively farming until the death of his wife.

He was born January 8, 1893 in Marion County the son of Robert and Elizabeth Wells Crozier. He was married to Hallie May Sherman on February 23, 1910 in Knoxville and the couple resided on a farm north east of Knoxville, moving to town in 1943.

He was a member of I. O. O. F. Lodge No. 90 of Knoxville.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife on August 27, 1964, one son Floyd and two brothers.

Left are his daughters: Mrs. Christian Pauline Fath of Des Moines and Mrs. Perl Helen Wolcott of Summit Park, Utah. Eight grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Sylvia Hamerick of Nevada, Iowa.
