Emma Robinson, 97, of Austin, Texas passed away April 27, 2019.

She was born in Emporia, Kansas on February 16, 1922 to Matthew and Elizabeth McGlinn.

She was married to her first husband, Robert Brinkman for 31 years and then her second husband, John Robinson for 5 years. Emma worked as an administrative assistant for Brown and Root. She had a passion for playing cards and Rummikub, and enjoying her grand and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

She is survived by sister Dorothy Chapline; children Patrick Brinkman and wife Janet, Sandi Tubbin and husband Stephen, Gary Brinkman and wife Karen, Michele Hawes and husband Michael, Donna Foster and husband Rusty, and Greg Brinkman; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 10727 Hartsook Street, Houston, Texas, 77034. Funeral Mass to follow at 9:30 a.m. and interment at Forest Park East Cemetery.
