Danny Ray Snyder, 37, of 146 Paradise Lane entered into rest at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he had been a patient since May 21. He lived in Sunbury until 18 months ago, when he moved to Buffalo Township. He was born April 11, 1966, in Mahoning Township, Montour County, a son of Kay Eldora (Snyder) Grove of RR1 Millmont and Leroy Addison Grove of Mifflinburg.

He was a 1985 graduate of Columbia-Montour Area Vocational-Technical School, Bloomsburg, where he specialized in auto mechanics. Before his illness, he was employed by Harley Davidson Corp., York. He enjoyed working on antique automobiles and repairing car engines for his friends. Danny attended Light House Worship Center, RR1 Winfield. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are one brother, Bryan D. Grove of Mifflinburg; maternal grandmother, Kathryn Mae Snyder of Sunbury; one uncle, Ray EV Snyder of Sunbury; and his foster parents, William L. "Bill" and S. Joan Jones of Bloomsburg. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur Charles Snyder who died on Jan 4,1990.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m.

Monday at Light House Worship Center, Middleburg, New Berlin Highway, RR1 Winfield, by the Rev. Harley Yoder, his pastor. Burial will be in Globe Mills Cemetery, Middlecreek Township, Snyder County, In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Danny's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Susquehanna Valley Chapter, 63 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. The family is being served by the James L. Schwartz Home for Funerals, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg..
