Born to Nellie Lucy Prince and Magnus Anderson, the sixth of 12 children. She was raised in Glendale, attending Valley High School.

Soon after she met and married Hiram Jackson of Seattle Washington on 25 Apr 1943. They raised t heir four children (Hy, Roger, Deanna and Juanita) on Vashon Island, Washington.

Ellen loved quilting and had given a quilt to all four children and all her 16 grandchildren. She also loved being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and serving in many callings for them.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Hiram Jackson; three grandchildren, Derek, Ronnie and Billy; and eight of her siblings, Ellis, Glen, & Dee Anderson, Lillian Robertson, Inez Tait, Raymond, Phyllis Robertson and Joy Anderson.

Shes is survived by her four children, Hy & Roger Jackson, Deanna Carman & Juanita (Travis) Arnold; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and three sisters, Lorna Porter, Juanita Terrel and Leona Pierce.

Funeral services held May 4, 2019 in Kanab. Arrangements made with Mosdell Mortuary
