Rosa Cook, 65, of Cranco, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 27, 2011, from the home of her sister, Birdie Floyd, at Delbarton. Rosa was a home maker. A Christian, she enjoyed visiting various churches and regularly attended the Man Church of the Nazarene. Rosa loved the Lord and practiced her faith by helping others in need.

She was born February 15, 1946, at Lorado, the daughter of the late Rev. Alda Osborne (Deceased) and Dica Peters-Osborne (Deceased). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. J. J. Cook (Deceased).

Those left to cherish her memory are four sisters, Bertha Osborne-Brinegar (B. 1941) and Shirley Osborne-Parker, both of Lorado, Virgie Osborne-Duncan of Man, and Birdie Osborne-Floyd & husband Ted Floyd of Delbarton; five brothers, Henry Osborne & wife Mary Osborne and Arnold Osborne & wife Misty Osborne, both of Davin, Billy Ray Osborne (B. 1948) & wife Janice "Darlene" Gibson-Osborne (B. 1945) of Kopperston, and Larry Gene Osborne (B. 1947) & wife Kay Osborne and Donald Osborne & wife Jean Osborne, both of Lorado; two step-children; one uncle; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011, at the Man Church of the Nazarene at Man with Rev. Brian Pope, Rev. Ronald "Nig" Vance, and Rev. David Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Cemetery at Huff Creek.
