Lola is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ralph Holt and daughter, Cindy Holt Botard; son-in-law, Bo Botard; grandsons, Micah Campbell and Logan Campbell wife Jennifer Campbell and great-grandson, Rylan Ace Campbell. Two special little girls to her heart, Macy Kaelana Hardiman and Reigh Leilani Hardiman, Stephen Hardiman, Faye Whitt, Mary Davenport Glaze and Austin Gillespie; many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-law. She is preceded in death by her son, Robbie Holt; three sisters and two brothers; parents, Lawson and Katie Gillespie.
Lola’s first love in life was her Lord Jesus and her family. She carried a special place in her heart for children with Down Syndrome. She was a self-taught artist of oil paintings and exceptional decorating skills. Lola never met a stranger and loved everybody. The room would light up when Lola came in due to her funny personality. Lola and her husband was the original.
Owner of Southern Style BBQ established in 1978 for 31 years before her retiring. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Brent Davenport, Kevin Davenport, Heath Dollar, Jarad Dorne, Weston Whitt and Kelly Howard.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
