Local Brevities: Mr. Joseph Lewis, father of Henry J. Lewis who resides in this city, died at the home of Sexton Newton Sunday morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Lewis had possibly reached the four score mark. He had been in feeble health for sometime and the end was expected. His remains were taken to Hardinsburg Monday and interred in the Catholic cemetery.
