Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1332 Arrowhead Road, Grafton, with Rev. Mark C.Wagner presiding for DorisE. Baxterof Grafton, who was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Feb. 7, 2016, at Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice at the age of 95. Visitation will be held at church on Saturday from noon to 1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Time of Grace, P.O. Box 301 Milwaukee, WI 53201 are appreciated. Doris was baptized, confirmed and married at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.
Doris is survived by her sons, Thomas (Denise) Baxter and David (Carol) Baxter; daughter, Robin Baxter; granddaughters, Tammy (Lloyd) Sossei and Jennifer (Chris) Moore; great-granddaughter, Lanea Sossei and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Baxter; parents, Werner and Martha (nee Meyer) Dobbert; and her brother James Dobbert.
The family wishes to extend most heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton and the Horizon Lawlis Family Hospice for their compassion and care.
