Charlotte June Watson died peacefully Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Joseph hospital in Bellingham, Washington at the age of 81.

She was born in Sedro-Woolley, Washington on October 17, 1936 to her parents Charles Jacob and Harriet May (Bunt) Crosby.

She is survived by 3 siblings; brothers, David Crosby of Lakeland Florida, Jack Crosby of Aberdeen, Washington and her sister, Violet Howe also of Aberdeen, Washington; her 2 children, daughter, Debora Cudini of Lakewood, Washington and her son, Irvin Benson Jr. of Bellingham, Washington; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was married to Irvin Benson, Sr. and lived in Lynden, Washington where she raised her 2 children.

It was in Lynden she managed the Palace Restaurant on Front Street and also managed a small daycare from her home where she cared for numerous little ones, as she was a sweet and loving person.

Later in life she moved to Bellingham and remarried. She had many friends. Charlotte eventually became an apartment manager and remained there for many years. She contributed to her community by her good works and her donations to her church and the needy. Charlotte was very loved by friends and family and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Norm and Karen Chamberlin for their generous gift towards their mother's funeral costs.
