Born Jan 25, 1892, Provo, to John Emer Armitstead and Naomi Bean Armitstead. Married to Freeman L. Gross, Aug. 1918, Los Angeles, Calif. Attended Provo schools, Brigham Young University, and the LDS Hospital School of Nursing, from which she was graduated, 1919. Piute County School Nurse 1919-1920. Private nursing practice in Price and Salt Lake City. Survivors: husband; son, daughter, Arthur L., Eatonville, Wash.; Mrs. Avard (Katherine) Rogers, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; brothers, sister, Dr. Reo B., Ventura, Calif.; Jack C., San Pablo, Calif.; Mrs. Tressa Doutre, Spring Valley, Nev. Friends call place of services Monday, 7-8 p.m., Tuesday prior. Burial, Shrine of Memories, Mausoleum, Salt Lake City.
