GLENWOOD, Utah - Our beloved mother, Iva Lee P. Sorensen, 86, returned to our Heavenly Father on December 8, 2004, in Provo, Utah. She was born June 14, 1918, in Glenwood to Bill and Lillian Sorenson and Viven Powell. She is now reunited with her husband of 68 years, Junius F. Sorensen, who preceded her in death in May of 2002.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Rosalie (Jim) Christensen of Richfield; Jeanine Wilkinson, Kaye (Don) Bybee, of Glenwood; Nan Bodily and Marilyn (Dennis) Fleming, of Taylorsville; Richard (Linda) Sorensen of Salt Lake City; Julie (Ken) Richens of Farmington; also by her 38 grandchildren; 65 great-grand children and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by a sister, Nadine (Monte) Andersen of Salt Lake City; brothers-in-law, Harold Sorensen of Richfield, LaGrand Sorensen of Kearns; sisters-in-law, Myra Sorensen of Logan and LaVern Sorensen of Orem.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Junius; two children, Diane Gae and Junius David; three grandchildren; sister, LaJune Larsen; brothers, Jack Sorenson and Clark Sorenson; son-in-law, Arlo Wilkinson.
Our mother leaves behind a rich legacy of devotion and service to family, community, and the LDS Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at 12:00 Noon in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Glenwood on Sat. from 10-11:30 a.m.
