Sonja K. Lee, 73, of Marietta, Ohio, passed Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Sonja was born January 23, 1946 in Marietta, Ohio to Russell and Mary Lou Dravis.
She lived in Marietta with her daughter Karla Cale and grandson Matthew Cale.
Sonja graduated from Warren High School in 1963. Sonja drove bus for Marietta City Schools until she retired after 32 years and continued working at Marietta CashPal. She volunteered at the American Legion Post 64 and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary, she was a Callegiant of WOTM 1363, and member of New Matamoras Order of Eastern Star Chapter #261 New Matamoras and a member of Putnam Congregational Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Carl Lee; her parents, and her grandson, Michael Cale.
Sonja is survived by her sister, Linda (George) Harlow; 4 children, Kristine (George) Goodman, Karla (Mitch) Cale, Michele (Glenn) Carpenter, Troy (Tracy) Lee, all of Marietta; six grandchildren, Matthew Cale, Alex ( Shannon) Goodman, Carl (Brook) Goodman, Madison, Hannah and Sophia Lee; 1 great granddaughter, Bexley Goodman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH 45750 with Guthrie Chamberlain officiating. Burial to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 with Eastern Star services to be held at 8 p.m.
