She was born on September 12, 1935 in Seminole, Texas to Gayle Haywood and Manie Elder Brown.
Barbara married the love of her life, Bill Pearce and they spent many wonderful years together until his passing in 2013.
Barbara worked as a secretary in the oil industry until retirement. Her hobbies included reading, writing, and sewing.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Shana Mills and husband Alan; son, Kelly Pearce; son, Douglas Pearce and wife Jeannette, and son, Cori Pearce. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family and friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Bill W. Pearce; her mother, Manie Brown, sister, Rheanel Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ronnie Hill officiating.
