Funeral services for Estel “Richard” Wallace, 76, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Ball Church of Christ, Dora, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Wallace died at 7:55 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Brooke Haven Health Care.

He was born November 30, 1936, in Graves County, Kentucky, to Raymond D. and Jenny Louise Crawford Wallace. On August 1, 1981, he married the love of his life, Bonnie Hambelton Nash at West Plains, Missouri. He worked as a meat cutter, was an Associated Grocer Representative and meat manager for Price Chopper stores; retiring in 2001 as the area wide meat supervisor for Price Chopper stores. He enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and vegetables, painting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Wallace, of the family home; two children, Theresa King, husband, Kevin, Riverside, California and Renee Jaurequi, husband, Raymond, Corona, California; three step-children, Teresa Poppitz, husband, Craig, West Plains, Missouri, Gayle Neal and David Neal, both of Riverside, California; grandchildren, Ryan and Marissa King, Araceli and Sabrina Jaurequi, Skylar and Tara Neal and Whitney Rowland, husband, Nick; great-granddaughter, Addison Rowland and grand-dog, Lizzie, the joys of his life; one brother, Dennis Wallace, wife, Valera, Cunningham, Kentucky; one sister, Betty Herring, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; special friend and caregiver, Lisa Gill; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and one daughter, Malinda Wallace, precede him in death.

Mr. Wallace will lie in state from 5:00 p.m., Saturday until 10:00 am Sunday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ball Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Paragould Children’s Home, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
