Mrs. Clemons D. Ashmore

Russellville—Mrs. Clemons D. Ashmore, 76, died in her home at Gumlog, near Russellville, Tuesday. Formerly Miss Anna Elizabeth Kottinger (sic), she was a native of Ohio, a daughter of Andrew and Margaret Fay Ways Hottinger, and a member of the Gumlog Presbyterian Church. She is survived by three sons, Charles Ashmore, Russellville; Idis Ashmore, Charleston, Mo., and Loy Ashmore, Sikeston, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs D. M. Virden, Gumlog; two stepsons, W. R. Ashmore, Russellville, and Ira Ashmore, Gilmer, Tex.; one brother, J. W. Hottinger, Russellville; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were to be conducted today at 3:30 at the Gumlog Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W. S. Isbell and the Rev. Edwin Bond. Burial was to be by Shinn and Son, at the Baptist Cemetery in Center Valley.
