Connie L. Baker, 65, died Monday, April 29, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with Pastor Jonathan Crawford officiating. Burial will take place in Linwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. today at the Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 JFK Road, and from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. on Thursday at the church.

Connie was born on February 2, 1954, in Dubuque, the daughter of Eldon and Irene (Wehrspann) Beauchamp. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1972 and worked at Regency Thermographers until its closing in 2005. For the next three years, she worked at Uelner Tool and Die, and was currently employed at Rite Hite as an inventory planner. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, watching black and white movies, gardening, reading and spoiling her three dogs, Gus, Fritz and Runt.

Surviving are her son, Jeff (Melissa), of Asbury; three grandsons, Beau, Luke and Ryan; her sisters, Susan Kelly, of Bernard, Iowa, and Lisa (Paul) Harrington, of Fairport, Iowa; her former husband, Richard “Rick” Baker, of Peosta, Iowa; three aunts; and several nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Randy Beauchamp; and her beloved dog Molly.

A Connie Baker Memorial Fund has been established.
