Leo Vilas Miller, 75, of Clifton, Arizona passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2019. Leo was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on May 29th, 1943 to Vilas and Elberta Miller. He had two siblings; Valetta Edrich and Douglas Miller.

Leo served our great nation in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1963. On February 15th, 1984 he married his sweetheart Olga in Silver City, New Mexico. Leo has 5 children; Thomas Miller (Kathryn), Timothy Miller (Stacey), Anthony Miller, Ray A. Garcia and Shelly Garcia. He has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Leo was very active in the community as a member of the American Legion, Elks Club, Greenlee County Country Club and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he helped with numerous fundraisers.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, playing cards, taking care of his lawn, drinking beer and watching all sports especially baseball and his favorite Arizona Diamondbacks. Leo will be remembered as a good man who was faithful and had integrity. He was a hard worker who knew how to have a good time.

He is survived by his wife Olga Miller and precede in death by his parents Vilas and Elberta Miller.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Services will be Thursday, January 10th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning with a viewing at 8:00 a.m. followed by the recitation of the Rosary at 9:00 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery following Mass.
