Edith was a homemaker and attended White's Creek Church. She worked for 10 years as a nurses aide at Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation. Edith enjoyed gardening and reading. She loved to travel and sight see, and had traveled to 47 of the 50 states.
Edith departed this life on April 28, 2019 in Florence, Alabama at the age of 81 years, 6 months and 12 days.
In addition to her husband of 58 years, Elvin of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by one sister, Dorothy Toney of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; brothers, Earl Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee, Loyd C. Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee, Boyd Stricklin of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and Gloyd Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elveeta Stricklin.
