Charlotte Christine Blair, 79, of Dry Creek, EV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Ervin and Sarah Dickens; loving husband, Verlie “Buddy” Blair; beloved daughter, Brenda Harte; brother, Robert Dickens and sisters, Ann Stone and Charity Stewart. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: son, Dusty Thompson and wife Hilary of Lakeland, FL; daughters: Betsy Townsend and husband, Dana of Bomont, WV, Crystal Guilliams and husband, Sean of Sevierville, TN and Melissa Vance of Leland, NC; sister, Rebecca Pettry and husband, Kenny of Sundial, WV; brothers, Stanley Dickens of Sophia, WV and Rodney Dickens of Dameron, WV; best friend, Nancy Alderman and special son-in-law, Marty Harte of Dry Creek, WV; and a bounty of special grandchildren and great grandchildren who were blessed to call her mamaw. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 in the Armstrong Funeral Home Whitesville, WV with Rev. Wes Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery Orgas, WV. Visitation will be from 6-9 Friday at the funeral home.
