She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland Partridge and Mildred Abercrombie; her husband, George Wellington Foster, Jr.; her step-father, Albert Abercrombie; one brother, Jack Partridge; and one step-brother, Byrl Abercrombie.
Patsy was a long-time resident of the area and a homemaker. She loved cooking, playing bingo and bowling, and to read. Patsy enjoyed and loved the holidays, where she would bake for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all whom loved and knew her.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in Heavener Memorial Park under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Brett Foster, Scott Foster, Brian Foster, Garrett Foster, Tyler Foster, and Kenny Kilgore.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Advantage Hospice in Poteau or EMS of Leflore County.
She will lie in state from noon until 8:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. The family will have visitation with friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
