Margaret Anne Sheriff Densley was born July 9, 1935 in Delta, Utah to Wilford and Bessie Sheriff. She was named after her maternal grandmother, Margaret Ann Finlinson Lovell. She was raised in Oak City, Utah, and it was always "home" to her no matter where she lived.

She attended Oak City Elementary School, and graduated from Delta High School in 1953. After graduation, she was accepted at the St. Mark's Hospital School of Nursing in Salt Lake City and graduated as a registered nurse in 1956.

In 1955, she married Lawrence Lynn (Larry) Densley in Elko, Nevada. They eloped and remained secretly married for over a year until Margaret could graduate from nursing school, as married women were not allowed in the program at that time. After Margaret finished nursing school, the couple moved to California, where their daughter Colleen was born in 1958. The following year, they welcomed their second child, a son named David Lawrence.

The family moved back to Utah in the 1960s, living in Springville before moving to Ogden. Larry worked at the Ogden Iron Works, and Margaret worked at St. Benedict's Hospital. In Ogden, two children were born; Larry S. in 1966 and Quinn Sheriff in 1968. Margaret's dream of raising her family in Oak City came true in 1969. Larry took a job at Brush Wellman's new beryllium refinery near Delta, and Margaret took a position as a nurse at West Millard Hospital in Delta. The couple's youngest child, Aaron Wilford was born at St. Benedict's Hospital in 1970.

Margaret loved being a nurse, and she gained the respect of the doctors and nurses she worked with, as well as the respect of the patients for which she cared. Eventually, she was promoted to head nurse at West Millard Hospital, leaving that position in the early 1980s to take a position as a public health nurse with the Central Utah District Health Department. She loved the variety of her work in this job. She was widely known in the community, and enjoyed interacting with the residents of west Millard County. Many people in Oak City consulted her about health issues.

Margaret was an active and devoted member of the LDS Church and it was a guiding force in her life. She loved sports, and was a dedicated fan of BYU and the Utah Jazz. Her favorite color was blue, and she surrounded herself with it as much as possible. She also loved snow and eagerly awaited the arrival of winter each year.

Margaret was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2001. She passed away at a nursing home in Nephi, Utah on June 10,2007, where she had resided for the last 4 years of her life. She is survived by her husband, 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is greatly missed.
