Born July 31, 1970, in Catawba County, she was a daughter, of Betty Hughes Per-
kins of the home and the late James Stanley Perkins.
She was employed by Joan Fabrics Corp.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two brothers, Casey Perkins of Hick-
ory and Danny Hughes of Burnsville; two sisters, Lisa Rowe and Cathy Wilson of
Newton; and 10 nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorials Gar-
dens. The family will be at Hickory Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 tonight.
