Marilyn Louise (Fantini) George, 84, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 5, in her Bradford home.

Daughter of the late Alfred P. and Mildred (Zakarosky) Fantini. She was raised in Haverhill, part of the Fantini Bakery family. She was extremely close to her two beloved sisters who predeceased her, Mildred (Fantini) Battistini and Frances (Fantini) Triventi.

Her career included working for the Draft Board for several years, and then with the Social Security Administration until her retirement. Longtime parishioner of All Saints Parish, Haverhill, and the former St. Rita Church, Haverhill.

Marilyn will be remembered for her generous spirit and her devotion to her family and her Catholic Faith. She and Bob enjoyed summers at their Hampton Beach home where their family would gather. She was beloved by all who were blessed to know her; she will be missed but never forgotten.

Her funeral will be held Friday morning, March 11, 2016, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, (Rte. 125), Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Parish, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be Thursday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marilyn's memory to the Arc of Greater Haverhill and Newburyport, 57 Wingate Street, Suite 301, Haverhill, MA 01832.
