Mr. Ronald Eugene Benson, 74, of Kinsey, went to be with his Lord, Friday September 1, 2017 at his home. He was 74.
On Tuesday September 5th family and friends will meet at Kinsey Baptist Church 6745 Walden Dr , Kinsey AL 36303. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. with memorial services held immediately after starting at 11 AM, Brother Brad Hardy will be officiating.
Mr. Ronnie Benson “PeePaw” was a resident of Kinsey AL. He proudly retired from Georgia Pacific after 47 years of service. He was a member of Kinsey Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Sue Benson, his mother Ophelia Allen, brothers Neil and Kyle Raye Benson, sisters Julia Alice Rodgers, Susan Tinney.
Surviving relatives include sister Rebecca Peavy, sons Phillip Benson his sons Christopher wife Abigail, Blake and Vance Benson, daughters Kandice, husband David Braswell, Talisa Benson. Chuck Benson wife June and daughter Bella. Daughter Rhonda Benson Canal, husband Terry Canal her son Gregory Mccloskey wife Melissa, daughter Bethani Benson and 6 great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the neighbors and friends of the community and especially Covenant Hospice for the loving care and kindness shown to Mr Benson during his illness .
