Harry James Campbell, 78, of Charleston passed away April 27, 2019 at home.
He was a retired lab technician for Oxidental Chemical Company, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Protestant.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Ethel Campbell; son, David Allen Jones; granddaughter, Brittany Jones; grandson, Coby Priddy; brothers, Elbert and Charles W. Campbell; and parents, Beldon Ervan and Millie Marie Stewart Campbell.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Virginia Campbell; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy Jackson and Pam Campbell of Pocatalico, Joey Lee and Paula Campbell, Tracy Lane Campbell all of Belle, Curt Campbell of Charleston; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya Star Campbell of Belle, Michele Dawn and Larry Brady of Clarksburg, Kathy Ann and Brian Hunt of Walton, Shana Campbell of Cross Lanes; sisters, Carrie Moore of Malden, Alice Faye Pennelton of Elkhart, Indiana, Linda Collins of Charleston; grandchildren, Brooke Barefield, Amber Billanti, Dylan Campbell, Coy Priddy all of Belle, Austin Campbell of Queen Shoals, Harley Trimble of Pinch, Tessa Dawn Brady, Andrea Day Brady and Heidi Brady all of Clarksburg, Kayla Eads, Kimberly Eads, Adam Hunt, Chelsea Hunt all of Roane County, David Allen Jones Jr., Johnny David Jones and Tara Jones all of Charleston; sixteen great grandchildren and several niece and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with Pastor Ron Shamblin officiating. Interment will follow in Simmons Creek Community Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Wednesday.
