Buren E. Mobley, 75, a longtime resident of Spencer, passed away on January 29, 2018, at Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 29, 1942, the son of Estes H. and Alice (Smith) Mobley. Buren graduated Unionville High School with the class of 1960. He was a member of the Indiana and Tennessee Air National Guard and most recently he was a heavy equipment operator for Union 841.
Survived by wife, Sophia (Smith) Mobley; daughter, Melisa (Jeff) Klusman; grandchildren, Rebecca Mobley, Racheal Megenhardt, Justin Mobley, Jordan (Danielle) Klusman, Casey Klusman and Mackenzie Klusman; and great- grandchildren, Makenna Mobley and Kayden Megenhardt. Preceded in death by son, Richard Mobley; parents, Estes and Alice Mobley; and brothers, William H. and Robert E. Mobley.
Calling for Buren will be Thursday, February 1, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. The Funeral Service is at 11 a.m. the same day at the funeral home, with burial at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
