His Funeral will be at 11:00 am Wednesday May 1st at Gibson City Pentecostal Church, 301 S. Melvin St. Gibson City, Illinois 60936. Pastor John Koonce & Pastor Eddie Perkins will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Church. Burial will be at Lyman Township Cemetery, Roberts, Illinois 60962. Calvert Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
Marvin was born on December 4, 1942, the son of Clyde Clayton & Naomi Mae (Kiper) Weaver. He graduated from Roberts-Thawville High School in 1961 and Southern Illinois University in 1963 with an Associates Degree in Mechanics. He married Diane Seegmiller on November 22, 1965. She survives. He later married Janet Seegmiller on November 7, 1969. She survives.
He is survived by 1 son, Martin (Sandi) Weaver; 2 daughters, Karen Calloway and Ruth (Grady) Weeks; 10 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grand-Daughter; and 1 brother Dean (Marsha) Weaver..
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Daniel Weaver and 2 grandsons.
