Laura May Shaw, 77, a resident of Collingswood, N.J., for five years and formerly of Pasadena, died Feb. 8.

Mrs. Shaw was born April 25, 1931, in Baltimore, where she was raised.

She and her late husband owned Chet's Place in Pasadena during the 1980s and 90s.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Lee Shaw; and two sons, Michael Gene and William Conrad Parker.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Parker of Collingswood and Laura Rebecca Parker of Mount Holly, N.J.; two sons, James Alexander Parker of Hanover and Joseph Dean of Williamstown, N.J.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation and funeral services will start at noon tomorrow at Blake-Doyle Funeral Home in Collingswood, N.J. Another visitation will be held at noon Friday at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, 1 Second Ave S.W., Glen Burnie; funeral services will start at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
