He was a 1972 graduate of Gordonsville High School, and attended University of Tennessee-Knoxville., He worked as a deputy for Smith County Sherriff's department for twelve years, a former member of Lancaster volunteer Fire dept. a member and trustee of Lancaster United Methodist Church., He was known by many as the radio voice for Gordonsville Tigers., He was co owner with his wife, Julie for the Antique Mall in Lebanon, which they operated with their son, Chad....
