Tammy Weldon Hill, 59, of Pampa, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Amarillo.

Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Weatherly, pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Tammy was born August 11, 1959 in Pampa to Bobby and Fay Weldon. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1977. Tammy married Gary Dudley in May of 1983, he passed away on January 11, 2010. She worked as a property manager at Pampa Manor for 15 years before retiring in 2016. On January 1, 2016 she married Carl Hill in Pampa. Tammy had a very creative personality. She was well known for her Christmas spirit, and her home was always festive and inviting. Tammy was an excellent cook, and always liked to host festivities for her family and closest friends. She had quite the reputation for her famous peanut brittle, a recipe she perfected on her own. Tammy had a green thumb and a love for the outdoors. From a young age she was a passionate fisherman, something she enjoyed throughout her life. She was an avid Rock’n’Roll music lover. Tammy’s smile was contagious, and she never shied away from sharing it with others. She was a very spiritual person who prayed for her family and friends often. Her love for her family was deep and she loved being “Gammy” to her grandchildren, who she spoiled as much as she could. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Bobby Weldon, Jr., and Charlie Bob Weldon.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Hill of the home; 2 sons, Mathew Dudley and wife Krissie, Marcus Dudley both of Pampa; a daughter, Gracie Powell and husband Tate of Pampa; a step daughter, Jessica Hill of Wears Valley, TN; 2 sisters, Debbie Kilcrease and husband Russ of Pampa, and Kim Moore and husband Dennis of Wheeler; 7 grandchildren, Eli Cole Dudley, Luke David Dudley, Sage James Dudley, Emery Claire Dudley, Cader Powell, Madyson Powell, and Wyatt Powell; numerous nieces, nephews, and host of friends who she loved very much.

Memorial can be made St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 or favorite charity.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 29, 2019 from 6:00-7:30PM.
