Terry B. "Doc" Ramsey, 76, Lincoln Highway, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Born April 4, 1939, at Wells Tannery, PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Justina (Wiser) Ramsey.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by his companion, Matilda Martz of Hustontown, PA; a daughter, Tara Sponsler McConnell and husband, Patrick of Greencastle; a grandson, Quintin Desrosiers; four brothers and two sisters, Calvin P. Ramsey, Weldon B. Ramsey, and Bill Ramsey, all of Harrisonville, Gloria Black of Three Springs, PA, Edgar M. Ramsey of Fort Loudon, PA, and Inez M. Chess of New Stanton, PA. A brother, Morris B. Ramsey, and two infant siblings preceded in death.
Mr. Ramsey worked for 37 years at Grove Manufacturing, Shady Grove, PA. He served with in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962 being stationed for a time in Germany.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at the M.R. Brown Funeral Home, 301 Pitt Street, Hustontown, PA with Pastor Toby Mellott officiating. Interment will be at Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery, Wells Tannery, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. The Fulton Honor Guard will provide military honors at the cemetery.
