At one time, Mrs. Garofallou was a Cub Scout den mother in the Bellevue area. She was a communicant of St. Madeline Sophie Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Garofallou; a son,; a daughter; a brother, Alan Sitzer of Nevada; a sister, Gail Dykeman of Duanesburg; and five grandchildren.
