Robert Dean Crist, age 71, of South Lane Street, Blissfield, died Monday, June 10, 1991, at Provincial House in Adrian. He was born April 6, 1920, in Deerfield to Rex and Bernice (Haildle) Crist. He married Alta Mae Haas on June 5, 1938, she survives.
Robert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a builder and developer in Blissfield for many years. He was a member of the Blissfield rotary Club and of the First United Brethren Church in Blissfield, and also served on the Blissfield Planning Commission for many years.
His also survived by three sons, Bill Crist and Ronald Crist, both of Blissfield, and Bob Crist of Dundee; two sisters, Barbara Osborn of Decatur, Ill., and Carol Sheldon of Blissfield; his step mother, Mrs. Ralph (Sarah) Carter of Blissfield; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Preceding him death were his parents and a brother Bruce.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield, with the Rev. Gary Dilley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Blissfield.
