Graveside services for Mary Kate Stegall of Thomasville will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on 8th St. with Rev. Andy Daughtry officiating. Mrs. Stegall passed away on Friday April 26, 2019 at her residence. Born on December 24, 1939 in Columbus, Ga. she was the daughter of the late James Barker and Geneva Baker Barker. She was a member of First Baptist Church Thomasville and New Hope Community Center. She was a very creative and talented person who enjoyed painting and drawing. Mrs. Stegall was a very caring and giving person who enjoyed working on the family farm and raising and taking care of her family. She was married to Ivan Berry Stegall Jr. who preceded her in death in 2010. Survivors include her daughter Kay Stegall Currie and husband Bruce of Murfreesboro, Tenn, son John Stegall and his wife Sandra of Thomasville, son Joe Stegall and his wife Glenda of Thomasville; grandchildren Katlyn Currie, Barry Stegall, Ben Stegall, Taylor Stegall and Lilly Stegall; great grandchildren Finn Stegall, Braylee Stegall, and Jacob Stegall; sister Linda Rollins of Thomasville, brother George W. Barker and his wife Pat; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Jimmy Barker and Eugene Barker.
