Born October 30, 1959 in Lynchburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of Hugh Lawrence Roher and Ophelia Walton Roher, who both survives.
Renee was last employed in the textile industry and was a member of the Callands Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents of Danville, Virginia, she is survived by two sisters, Leslie F. Roher-Reece (Terrence) of Clear Brook, Virginia and Cheryl V. Roher-Story (Tony) of Hagerstown, Maryland; four nephews, Naim S. Reece of Los Angeles, California, Terrence M. Reece, II of Ferrum, Virginia, Niko L. Reece of the United States Navy, stationed in Hawaii and Christian J. Preston of Hagerstown, Maryland; one aunt, Areva Boyd (Wendell, Sr.) of Hyattsville, Maryland; one uncle, John H. Walton (Patricia) of Greensboro, North Carolina; two great aunts, Beulah Caines of Brockton, Massachusetts and Eunice Wright of Boston, Massachusetts and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A homegoing celebration will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Callands Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Marland Wiggins, officiating and Bishop David Fuller, eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
