Tommy was born in Lawton, OK on August 25, 1968 to Katie Mae Porter. Tommy is one of eleven children born to Mrs. Porter. Tommy grew up and went to school in Lawton, OK. He was a 1987 graduate of Eisenhower High School. After High school, he attended Gene Stipes Law Enforcement Academy in McAlester, OK. Tommy worked in many facets of law enforcement; he was a Comanche County Sheriff’s deputy and he worked for the State of Oklahoma as a Lieutenant. In his off duty hours he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, watching OU football and basketball games; as well as watching the San Francisco 49ers football team play on Sunday’s. He adored his fur babies. He has two Rottweilers: Abbey, Kimbo, and his two cats: Mikey and Cali.

He is survived by his wife Jo of the home; his son: Tommy Green; his two step-sons: Aaron Ball & Justin Ball and his wife Amber; his daughter: Tiara Porter; brothers: Bennie Porter, Eddie Porter, and Reggie Porter; sisters: Aleisha Green, JaQuita Porter, and Elizabeth Smith; his grandchildren: Chandler, Kaedyn and Carson Ball. He also leaves behind his two best friends: Robert Adams and Bobbi Vossbrink; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His mother preceded him in death.
