Services will be at 4 p.m. Today in the chapel at Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St., with the Rev. Jim Shelburne, of Washington Avenue Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mr. Love was born in Iconium, Mo. He was a longtime resident of Amarillo. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was the former owner of Love & Son Nursery. He retired in 1996.
Mr. Love was past president of the Nurseryman's Association of the Texas / New Mexico Region in 1963 and a member of the Amarillo Business Club. He was a member of the Washington Avenue Christian Church.
He married Vivian "Omiteene" Pearson in 1942 at Clovis, N.M.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Janice Love of Houston, Connie Patterson of Amarillo and Carla Abel of Kerrville; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 8 a.m. Until service time today in the funeral home chapel.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice.
