Marie Cullum Lawrence, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2017 surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert G. Lawrence.

Survived by daughter, Lynne (David) Cypress; grandchildren, Katherine Cypress, Zac (Erin) Cypress, and Max Cypress; nieces, Belle Myrie (Johnnie) Hicks, Sherrill (Ronnie) Irvin, and Mary Alice (Danny) McDonald.

A special thanks to Marie's loving and loyal caregiver, Tammy Bryant, and the staff of Brookdale at Belle Meade Assisted Living. A thanks also to Wayne Smith, who was always there when Marie needed assistance.

Visitation with the family will he held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Belle Meade United Methodist Church or Nashville Humane Association. Online condolences may be made at www.mountolivet.com
