MASSENA – Jason M. Woodward, 40, of Ober Street, passed away April 25, 2019 at the University of Vermont Medical Center after a brief illness.

Jason was born May 15, 1978 in Potsdam, the son of Gary Woodward and the late Nancy Gravlin. He attended Norwood-Norfolk Central Schools.

He was a laborer for various construction companies in the area and most recently had worked for Ductman Sheet Metal in Norfolk. He enjoyed fishing, portrait painting, and follow the NFL. He also had a great love for music and roller coasters. Jason was also a friend of AA.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Gina Berry; his children, Jayden and Riley Woodward, both at home; his father, Gary Woodward of Norwood; his brothers, Chris Murcray of Norfolk; and Justin Woodward of Norwood.

He was pre-deceased by his mother, Nancy Gravlin.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Massena.
