He married the love of his life Cathy Hanowell in Sumas, WA on July 15, 1965.
Ted served in the U.S. Army, worked at Georgia Pacific, did odd jobs and worked as a long-haul truck driver. He was found of saying that he was a "paid tourist" and loved traveling throughout the United States and Canada seeing beautiful places and meeting wonderful people. Ted enjoyed visiting with others and telling stories and is missed very much by those who knew and loved him.
A memorial service with Military Honors was held July 14, 2018 at the Glen Echo Community Center.
