Mrs. Hazel Ann McDaniel Edwards, age 79 of Manchester, KY was born in Clay County, KY on June 2, 1939 to the late McKinley and Maggie Bowling McDaniel and departed this life on April 24, 2019 in the Landmark of Laurel Creek in Manchester.

She is a member of Ells Branch Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, watching TV, gardening, cooking, playing Horseshoes, caring for her dog “Boy”, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.

In addition to her parents; her husband: Delbert “Biggien” Edwards; a son: Ronnie Davidson; 4 sisters: Martha Craft, Mae Dezarn, Margaret McDaniel, and Virgie Hamblin; 2 infant siblings; and a grandson: Jason Davidson preceded her in death.

Hazel is survived by her loving children: Beth Day and husband Jason, and Becky McDaniel and husband Charles all of Manchester, Jimmy Davidson of Sextons Creek, and David Davidson and wife Bonnie of Burning Springs; a sister: Rosie Bailey of OH; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Edwards will be conducted in the Ells Branch Baptist Church on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Scotty Jewel officiating. Burial will follow in the McDaniel Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Friends may call at the Ells Branch Baptist Church Friday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M. and Saturday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 1.
