He worked as an elevator mechanic for Thyssenkrupp Elevators for more than 20 years. Jonathan was a dedicated father, first and foremost; he treasured his children and embraced every moment with them. As a loving son, he cherished the time he was able to take care of his mother as she aged. In his spare time he enjoyed tinkering in his shop, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends, family and most of all his children. While often times a man of few words, his infectious smile and very kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jonathan will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Joyce, his children Victoria, Nicholas and Elizabeth, girlfriend, Jennifer, and former wife, Renee. He is preceded in death by his infant son, Travis Lee, and father, Bedford Lee.
The Lee family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 4th at Clements Funeral Home in Hillsborough. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 5th at Crosslink Community Church with Pastor Ken Tilley officiating. Burial will follow the service at Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsborough.
Memorial gifts can be made in his memory to Crosslink Community Church, 3445 Old Hillsborough Rd, Mebane, NC 27302. Family and friends are gathering at the home of Jonathan Lee.
