Kathryn E. Davis, 82, of Joliet, IL, passed away on April 25, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis on March 2, 1937 to the late Ova Lowe and Elsie Hubble Lowe, and then was adopted as a girl by Elsie's second husband Walter J Davis. Kathryn was a loving mother and a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and gardening in her free time. Kathryn loved spending time with her family more than anything. Kathryn was preceded in death by a son, Randall Richardson and her brother, Ova 'Sonny'. Lowe Jr. Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Graveside services will follow visitation in Amo Cemetery. Survivors include her daughter, LaDonna (Mark) Friedman; sons, Robbie (Janet), Guy (Petra) and Robert (Lynn) Richardson; sister, Karen Petree (Larry); 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
