Daniel Craig Berry, 61, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital. He was born July 27, 1957 in Monroe. He was the son of the late James Edward Berry, Sr and Bessie Irene (Friar) Berry. He married his sweetheart Joyce Gibson on December 17, 1975 in Monroe. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter in 1979. He received his high school education at Monroe Public Schools and was previously employed by Pioneer Sign, Monroe Glass and Shore Line Railroad. Dan is survived by his wife, daughter, grandson, a sister a lifelong friend Michael (Kathy) DeSloover and many of Melodie’s friends whom Dan treated as his own daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James Berry Jr.
