1916 OBIT-Young Son of Moselle Couple Dies in City
Body of Walter Paul Mapp to be Taken to Ellisville For Interment. The body of Walter Paul Mapp, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. P.D. Mapp, who died, at, the family residence 320 Tipton street, at 3:30 o’clock this morning after a brief illness, will be taken to Ellisville on No. 8, of the New Orleans & Northeastern, tonight. It will be taken from there tomorrow morning to the Pine Grove Cemetery, 6 miles from Ellisville, and the interment will be made tomorrow afternoon. The child was 13 months old. Mr. Mapp formerly was a sawyer at the mill of P.M. Ikeler, at Moselle. He came to Hattiesburg with his family a short time ago. (Hattiesburg news; August 12, 1916; p. 4)
