Diane Susan Faulhaber was born on August 25, 1967 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Diane was born from the marriage of the late Roland Faulhaber and the late Carol "Betsy" (Shockley) Faulhaber.

Diane was known as a caring person. She had worked for several employers throughout the years; but her favorite positions required her serving others. Eight months ago Diane's brother David required a full-time caretaker. Diane stepped up without hesitation moving David into her home and taking him under her wing. She was a family person and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Diane enjoyed sharing conversation with others, but most of all she was a wonderful listener.

Recently, Diane had found the time to return to school and begin work on acquiring her GED. Diane enjoyed research and used it to learn her family history by studying genealogy. Diane's hobbies revolved around her love for music. She could often be found listening to music but her favorite pastimes were dancing and karaoke. It wasn't a surprise to those who knew her best that although she didn't have much time to watch television; she was an American Idol fanatic.

Diane Susan Norris passed away tragically on the morning of Thursday, July 9, 2009. In addition to her parents her passing was preceded by a brother: Johnny Faulhaber. Diane's memory will forever be cherished by a host of family and friends. She is survived by her four children including sons: Brian Powers and Nicholas Powers of Southgate; her beloved siblings: Gary ( Kathleen) Faulhaber of Monroe, David Faulhaber of Monroe, Rick (Debbie) Faulhaber of Monroe, Jim Faulhaber of Monroe, Roland Faulhaber Jr. of Monroe, Nancy Rains of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and Bob Rains of Kansas; her boyfriend of more than eight years: Bryan Wade LaChance of Dundee, and many nieces and nephews.

Private services were held for her family. Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan. Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185 was entrusted with her arrangements.
